The town of Corby, which is located in North Northamptonshire, is only a 62 minute train journey away from London. Not only is this location close proximity to the capital, but there’s also a selection of decent priced homes to choose from.
According to Rightmove, Corby’s average asking price is £221,285.
Listed on the Stronger Seller Markets list, 82 per cent of the town’s homes have been sold subject to contract.
There are also many things to do in the town such as playing in Trapp’d Corby (Escape Rooms), visiting the historic Kirby Hall or eating at Royal Tandoori.
The town also has a scenic boating lake which was constructed in the early 70’s that sits “at the heart of the town”.
“The lake can boast a wide range of geese, ducks, water fowl and our residential swans,” according to the government’s website.
